NWO/SRON Programme Bureau Space Research
The NWO/SRON Programme Bureau Space Research is a collaboration between the NWO Research Council for Earth and Life Sciences (ALW) and SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research. The Programme Bureau is responsible for the daily management of the new NWO/SRON User Support Programme Space Research (2007-2011). The aim of this programme is to provide support to researchers working in the Netherlands, during the (preparation for) use of scientific infrastructure in space for the purpose of high quality research. The programme has three subprogrammes:
Earth observation, Microgravity research and Planetary research.

ESA is an international organisation with 17 Member States. By coordinating the financial and intellectual resources of its members, it can undertake programmes and activities far beyond the scope of any single European country.
